As Senior Director, Marketing and Engagement Strategy you will help cross-functional teams create and optimize data driven content-fueled omni-channel experiences across all digital and traditional channels. You will develop and utilize best practice methodologies for developing digital and traditional content marketing strategies leveraging consumer analytics in a collaborative way and leading strategy projects that culminate into both documented strategy and actionable planning. You will direct and leverage research to inform consumer-centric experiences, while optimizing digital and traditional channels for performance against business objectives. You will direct projects, leveraging internal and external resources, to conceptualize, design and produce transformational data driven omni-channel experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Drive the implementation of an analytics behavioral segmentation strategy across the business
  • Leverage the Consumer Experience Design Center of Excellence to drive the Optum Experience Design Vision into assigned business groups/initiatives
  • Create data driven Marketing strategies and plan that activate and engage consumers in their health and wellness
  • Bring together mass marketing, customer relationship (loyalty/incentives) marketing, along with data driven content-fueled digital and social engagement to accomplish unprecedented levels of activation
  • Develop omni-channel content marketing strategy
  • Identify business objectives and design success metric dashboards for strategic initiatives, helping internal teams tie their efforts to measurable business value
  • Direct research partners to understand audience stakeholders, defining them and bringing them to life for the organization using tools like personas and journey maps
  • Gather and analyze primary and secondary research to understand business environments, trends, audiences and competition, building these insights into strategic plans and acting as an advisor to cross-functional teams
  • Audit and assess existing digital and traditional offline experiences across all forms of publication (websites, social media, sales enablement tools, mobile applications, etc.), identifying opportunities and providing a vision and roadmap for optimization based on best practices
  • Advise and direct design teams to create user-centric information architecture and experience design across strategically selected digital channels
  • Produce and present an annual departmental plan that ties brand, digital and traditional offline content strategies together to capitalize on opportunities and achieve business objectives
  • Produce and deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate opportunity for innovative solutions and clearly articulate a tactical road map for content creation, experience design, governance, measurement, optimization and resource planning
  • Direct projects, managing internal and external resources, to create and/or optimize content and experience design
  • Direct agency partners to develop concepts, prototypes and functional user experiences that can be tested and implemented across the organization
  • Maintain and report on success metrics as specified in the strategic plan
  • Manage budget and personnel resources effectively to achieve priorities

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree
  • 8+ years direct to Consumer Marketing experience
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Customer relationship marketing experience
  • Content marketing strategy experience
  • 10+ years experience in a deadline driven environment
  • 10+ years proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 10+ years experience demonstrating organization skills
  • 10+ years experience in meeting or exceeding sales promotion/marketing targets
  • 10+ years experience influencing and collaborating with others
  • 10+ years project management experience
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
