If you are driven to succeed and have a passion for working with "State of the Art Technology" then Prent Corporation might have a job for you. We are looking for CNC Set Up Technicians with the ability to grow on the job. Our new 6K square foot tool room is loaded with new technology including a recently added Makino Machining Complex (MMC2) pallet handling system with two a61 horizontal machining centers. You will not find a cleaner and more up to date tool room in the industry!
The core responsibilities include: setting up and operating Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) equipment as well as manual milling machines, surface grinders and drill presses required for the fabrication of thermoform tooling components. Other responsibilities include compensating feeds and speeds during job run, setting up CNC machines with vices and work stops, loading and touching off tools in mills, polishing and evacuating molds and plugs, inspecting and de-burring parts, and welding.
Qualified candidates will possess a Degree or certificate program for CNC Technician/Set-up, or equivalent experience. Individuals enrolled in a CNC/Set-up program interested in working while going to school are encouraged to apply. Strong mechanical, math and computer skills, the ability to multi-task and read and understand blue prints. Vertical mills, 2D programming and lathe experience a plus. Join the Prent Team today!
