Purchasing Manager

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Purchasing Manager.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

The purchasing manager will be responsible for purchasing, negotiating contracts, and managing the supply chain. Strong candidates will have knowledge of the entire purchasing process with the ability to secure the most cost-effective price. In this role, you will oversee incoming raw materials along with the return process when there is an order discrepancy. Building rapport and maintaining vendor relations is very important in this role. Exceptional candidates will have a manufacturing background and have an understanding of SAP. Requirements: *5+ plus years of experience as a purchaser in a manufacturing environment *Experience working with Excel, Word, SAP and Outlook *Outstanding time management skills. *Strong attention to detail skills. *Exceptional organizational skills especially with computer databases and correspondences with internal customers and suppliers. *Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
