About this job
OUR FIELD SALES TEAM -- WHAT WE DO:
Our stores are the center of our business. Everything we do is for our client, and our stores teams are at the heart of her experience. We feel privileged to share this special time in her life, and as the world leader in the maternity apparel retail we are looking for team members who want to share our mission of delivering her maternity products and services like no one else can.
THE ROLE OF AN MSR:
MSRs play a very important role in our leased department locations and are representatives of our brands. Their main role is to effectively maintain the visual and operational integrity of the leased department, and build relationships with our leased partners. Equally as important is their ability to educate our clients on how to build their maternity wardrobe and deliver the "STARR" client experience. Our MSRs are counted on to work independently as well as collaboratively.
A TYPICAL MSR WORK DAY:
Non-Client Facing Responsibilities:
* Complete visual floorset changes and maintain the highest level of presentation standards using the visual directive
* Execute all promotions, price changes and sign changes in the department so that our sales and promotions are clearly and accurately communicated to our clients
* Maintain inventory completing transfers, damages and processing shipments from our Distribution Center including: unpacking, hanging, folding, sizing and merchandising on the floor
* Maintain the department during your shift including: folding, sizing, and replacing merchandise from the fitting rooms
Client Facing Responsibilities:
* Create a welcoming, inviting and FUN atmosphere for our clients to shop
* Thoughtfully listen and put her at ease
* Educate her on the products we offer to meet all her needs throughout her pregnancy
* Deliver the "STARR" client experience by sharing product information, making suggestions for current and future wardrobe needs and building outfits
The Workday Hours:
The hours requirements for the MSR position vary depending upon the leased partner and the volume of the leased location. Each leased partner has specific scheduling requirements and it is critical to our business that the hours are followed to ensure our leased department is properly maintained.
SELF DEVELOPMENT & CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:
We believe in career advancement and growth in our Company, and encourage our team members to proactively acquire knowledge, education and experience to move up in the organization. Our leaders are dedicated to the exchange of feedback to promote people development and internal growth. We offer opportunities in all of our brands and businesses in both field and corporate environments for those team members who demonstrate the desire to learn and develop the leadership and communication skills necessary to produce positive results and future advancement.
