1st Shift Production Supervisor

Want to work First Shift? Local Vandalia Manufacturer has an immediate opportunity for a First Shift Supervisor. This is a Direct Hire position. If you have experience supervising a workforce in a manufacturing environment this could be your next job!
Monitoring quality and efficiency

Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and work with other team members in a hands on management capacity.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, a creative thinker and have excellent problem --solving skills. This is a fast paced team-oriented environment. Must be able to understand and uphold manufacturing rules and practices. Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance and interact with co-workers.

Supervise production operations Oversee the production efficiencies and quality of jobs Train employees on job responsibilities and goals, holding employees and production group accountable for results Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards Maintain good communication with supervisors on other shifts to ensure smooth running of production and processing throughout the plant.
