About this job
Are you a Tig Welder with a strong mechanical background? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We have 4 immediate 1st shift openings for Tig Welder Heavy Assembler roles in Fond du Lac, WI. This position will be building machinery and equipment for clients in the food industry by performing Tig Welding and Assembly duties. All products are custom built, so there will be a lot of variation in the products. About 50% of the time will be spent on Tig Welding and the remaining 50% will be performing machine building.
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (however, they also have 1 opening on 2nd shift as well)
Pay: The pay rate is $17 to $20 per hour based on experience.
Job Duties:
-perform Tig Welding on Stainless Steel and Sheet Metal
-assemble build production machines and equipment
-read blueprints
-work with various tools and equipment
Qualified Candidates Must:
-have Tig Welding experience on Stainless Steel and Sheet Metal
- have experience working in a custom manufacturing environment
- be comfortable and have experience welding very thin gauges
- be able to read blueprints
-be mechanically-inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment with limited supervision
