Java Integration Developer - Permanent Job - Full-time / Part-time

Java Integration Developer needed for direct-hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Strafford, PA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Seven (7) years of experience with JavaScript software engineering and extensive knowledge in the creation and maintenance of ERP systems
- Experience with general web technologies, ecommerce systems, and web services technology
- Excellent hands-on designing and coding experience - the applicant must be able to create code

What You'll Be Doing:

- Implement, test, maintain and support software, based on technical design specifications.
- Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
- Review functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provide feedback.
- Assist customer support with technical problems and questions, and assist other development staff with various coding projects.
- Investigate software development tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of methods.
- Perform special assignments. Participate in architecture and code reviews.
- Communicate with other departments and effectiveness relay valuable information.

What You Need To Bring To The Table:

- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
- Experience implementing n-tiered, distributed systems across different Hardware/Operating System platforms.
- Experience with iterative, incremental software development processes.
- Experience with complex software development projects through all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Experience with web-based application development technologies is required.
- Experience with Web Services design and construction.
- Experience with XML processing.
- Familiarity with software application security threats and mitigation approaches.
- Relational database experience with one or more of the following: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server is required.
- Familiarity with the Unified Modeling language (UML).
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
