Hickory Farms has an opportunity for a Seasonal Assistant Store Manager to create the memorable retail experience that has come to define the Hickory Farms tradition of quality and excellence. Candidate must have at least one year of successful experience in management or supervisory role. Assistant Store Managers receive comprehensive sales training that enables experienced and new store managers to develop the skills necessary to build a strong career in retail management! Responsibilities of the Seasonal Assistant Store Manager include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain a friendly and inviting customer-first atmosphere
  • Recruit, interview, and hire all holiday store Sales Associates alongside your Retail Area Manager
  • Sampling, Selling and Customer Engagement
  • Train and support Sales Associates in all processes of sales and operations
  • Implement all Hickory Farms’ retail selling strategies and guidelines
Requirements of the Seasonal Assistant Store Manager include:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to manage the sales goals of a retail store while promoting the highest standards of customer service
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • A flexible schedule and ability to work full-time hour from October through December . Retail Store Managers may need to visit the holiday store on short notice and at off-hours, including nights and weekends.
