Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in a Specialty Pharmacy Setting. This position will be primarily responsible for front store duties along with shipping duties. Front store duties include but are not limited to maintaining inventory, stocking shelves, facing/cleaning shelves, following planogram and outdate schedules and other tasks that are requested. Shipping duties include but are not limited to creating accurate shipping labels, appropriately packing shipments and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies. Required Qualifications:

*Must be adept at reading / interpreting prescription terminology and medications

*Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person

*Must have rapid keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy

*Must also be able to recognize and identify commonly used generic drugs and the route of administration of these drugs

*Must have the ability to understand and interpret Latin symbols commonly used on prescription medications and the ability to write routine correspondence

*Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. This includes the ability to calculate dosages and days supply of prescriptions

*Must be flexible and enjoy working in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred and previous non-pharmacy retail experience Education:
