DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serve guests in a quick and friendly manner.
2. Ensure that all guests are satisfied and happy with their meal.
3. Receive and return money to guest in an accurate and professional manner.
4. Complete daily side work.
5. Sell up ticket with menu items.
6. Clean and restock tables for next shift.
7. Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.
8. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PHYSICAL - Must be able to:
1. Stand or walk for long periods of time.
2. Must be able to lift and carry at least 20 lbs.
3. Must be able to see.
4. Hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
5. Climb steps repeatedly.
MENTAL - Must be able to:
1. Work accurately with basic math.
2. Accurately handle and count large sums of cash and coin.
3. Communicate verbally, clearly and articulately.
4. Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
5. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Qualifications:
PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. One-year experience as a server required. Must have neat and clean appearance and outgoing personality.
GAMING:
Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
