ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
* Provides friendly service to every customer.
* Works closely with other departments to achieve property and department goals.
* Protects company assets by adhering to Illinois gaming regulations.
* Verifies jackpot payouts.
* Observes money and chip transfers throughout the property.
* Performs security related issues as outlined in the internal controls.
* Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
* Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same.
* Completes all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS :
* 21 years of age or older required.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid Driver's License required.
* Updated AED and CPR certification required (Or must be obtained within your first 90-days of employment) .
* Security experience preferred.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.
* Must possess excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.
JOB DEMANDS:
* Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
* Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
* Position requires 30% standing, 10% sitting, 60% walking.
* Requires come kneeling and reaching overhead.
* Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, climbing and stooping.
* Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant public contact.
