Bike Delivery Personnel
We're a technology company looking to change how food delivery is done in New York City. We're working with restaurants and online ordering platforms to optimize the delivery experience for customers and delivery personnel. Safety, community, and customer service are our core values.
Responsibilities:
Delivery food via bicycles
Provide excellent customer service to both our restaurant partners and their customers
Help us field-test our software and smartphone app and provide constant feedback to our developers and team
This Job is Perfect For:
People with experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry (previous food delivery experience a huge plus)
People with excellent customer service skills
People looking to earn additional income
College students looking to work with a fast growing urban logistics startup
Benefits of Working at Homer:
Compensation will be paid hourly, between $10-$15 an hour
Opportunity to work with talented people that are building some really cool software to power urban deliveries
W2 Employment -- allows us to train you to do your job well and prevents you from owning quarterly contractor tax bills
The Ideal Candidate:
Must be able to ride a bike for up to 8 hours
Must be able to work a minimum of 20-25 hours/week
Must possess good communication skills and be able to work well with others
Must be at least 18 years old
US work authorization
Must be able to read and take direction in English
Must have a great attitude
Must be willing to learn
Must be comfortable with technology (you'll be working with a smartphone)
Must be willing and able to work an entire set of shifts as specified on your application. Punctual attendance is critical at Homer! We schedule as a team and cannot accommodate early/late arrivals or partial shifts.
