The role of the Room Service Server involves:
* Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
* The ability to sign out keys and retrieve refill reports, ability to stock private bar carts, ability to maneuver private bar carts throughout hotel keeping them neat and orderly, ability to replenish all items used from guest rooms and check out rooms, compute charges and relay charges to the Front Desk.
* Ability to ensure the Guest "In-Room Refrigerator" items are neatly stocked and within their expiration date, clean, and menus are in good condition; ability to keep accurate pars of food and beverage items as well as non-food items (checks, menu cards, daily sales reports, etc.) in a neat, clean and orderly manner; the ability to perform monthly inventory of items in all In-Room Guest Refrigerators.
* Ability to retrieve front desk reports regarding status of occupied and unoccupied rooms, ability to handle "Do Not Disturb" and "No Service" rooms as well as difficult guests; the ability to respect the privacy of all guest rooms; the ability to report any unusual incidents, persons, or items found or seen on the guest floors.
* Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
