Primary Responsibilities:
Major duties include designing/developing/administering ETL production processes, performing data verification/validation activities and serving as an active member of the Healthcare Informatics Data Management team
Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
Translates concepts and developments into an automated production process
Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
Acts as a resource for others on assigned production flows/processes
Under minimum supervision, completes projects and development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Responsible for maintaining and supporting several extracts and reporting deliverables for all customers of the Nevada market
Develop and maintain data-mart ETL processes
Suggest changes and enhancements for ETL processes
Maintain ongoing self-study program to enhance knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle RDBMS, TOAD, ETL processing, and Informatica PowerCenter
Document development activities by following SDLC and IS change management guidelines
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of Oracle development experience
1+ Years' experience with PL/SQL and SQL
1+ Years' experience with relational databases and data marts
Experience with Oracle RDBMS 10G/11G
1+ Years' experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools
1+ Year experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Development in PL/SQL
Experience in SDLC environment.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter
