Be a Medicaid Encounter Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more states
Together with internal functional partners, ensure we meet or exceed Medicaid Encounter requirements and internal goals for your state(s) by:

Ensuring Encounter submissions meet state requirements
Monitoring Encounter submission and acceptance rates
Reviewing, researching, investigating and correcting encounter issues through data and process analysis
Where process or system changes are necessary, develop short and/or long-term resolutions by identifying root causes using data files, provider files, diagnosis files, etc.
Develop collaborative relationships with internal partners in order to ensure Encounter goals are met; includes partnering with functional teams (e.g., Provider Data, Claims, etc.) accountable for issues impacting Encounters
Maintaining Encounter reporting describing results against internal goals; presenting results and issue updates
Developing relationships with state partners in order to research issues

Required Qualifications:

Intermediate level of experience in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Access)
4 years of experience in financial/data analysis
4 years of experience working with and analyzing large quantities of data
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Medicaid Encounter experience
Healthcare related experience
Claims experience
Experience working with PL/SQL within an Oracle Database
Experiencing working in a matrix-style organization
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
