Overview

We are the Street's leading Healthcare Corporate Banking team, comprising eight bankers partnering with the leading Healthcare Investment Banking team to cover more than 85 clients across the three subsectors: BioPharma, MedTech, and Healthcare Services. HC CBK is focused on delivering the complete suite of corporate banking products and services, notably capital raising, acquisition financing, FX and Rates hedging, treasury solutions and delivering the firm across global markets and wealth management. In addition to investment bankers, we also are well-coordinated with our Risk and Global Loan Products partners.

Role of Associates in Healthcare CBK:

Corporate Banking associates assist coverage bankers in the delivery of the full breadth of products and services to clients and as their career develops, they drive toward the goal of becoming a coverage banker over time. In the near term, they are expected to:

1. Support various financial analyses and modeling, including capital structure and corporate finance analyses

2. Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, industry research and peer benchmarking, developing industry specific expertise

3. Prepare and drive content for client presentations, including pitch book, lender and investor presentations and information memorandums

4. Participate in client planning sessions and weekly group/product partner meetings

5. Participate in client meetings

6. Assist senior bankers to coordinate and build global relationships

7. Coordinate with partners from across the global enterprise

8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with the team

9. Drive business planning efforts through working with coverage bankers and/or product partners to determine high growth products or regions

10. Join in the recruiting, development and training of junior analysts

Required Skills:

* 2 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking

* MBA degree with outstanding academic qualifications or Corporate/Investment Banking analyst/associate experience

* A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities

* Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus

* Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills

* Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus

* Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities

* Dedication to building a career in the corporate banking industry

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Healthcare, Corporate/Investment Banking, credit and/or leveraged finance
