The Senior Financial Analyst for IT Finance will provide analytical support for Global IT operational, commercial and brand initiatives that drive the overall financial results. The Team Member will develop business relationships, identify profitable opportunities, anticipate challenges, and devise and execute strategies to support Global IT in delivering and executing on strategic objectives.

What will I be doing?
The Senior Financial Analyst for IT Finance will continue to develop new tools and processes to align reporting conventions across the Global IT organization in conjunction with FP&A and Corporate Accounting. The Team Member will analyze, create, review, and update coding, allocation, billing, and reporting processes to improve visibility and assist Hilton Worldwide in understanding IT operating expense.
Other key priorities are listed below:
Proactively document and prioritize tasks to ensure optimal financial results, and coordinate the annual business planning process
Identify financial and/or operational opportunities and drive results through detailed analysis of operating financials, including the development of annual operating plan
Develop presentations that compare data, highlight risks and focus on qualitative and quantities issues
Understand the Global IT expense chart of accounts, global accounting, and be able to quickly pull and summarize costs related to IT operations
Research and help to identify business drivers for Global IT and report findings and conclusions to upper management
Document and evaluate allocation processes internal to Global IT, coming in and out of Global IT, and educate stakeholders on opportunities and sensitive issues to streamline and/or automate
Assess actual performance against target to determine whether Global IT is on target to reach goals and take corrective actions as necessary
Ensure business plans are being followed and goals are being achieved and provide feedback accordingly
Support other corporate initiatives, including, but not limited to, financial systems-related projects (Hyperion Planning, Apptio)
Evaluate and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department
Disseminate and communicate regarding assignments and projects within the department and with senior leaders and constituents from other departments, including, but not limited to FP&A, senior finance leadership, and senior IT leadership
Manage the cross-functional links between Finance, IT, Global Brands, Commercial Services, and Accounting
Inform upper management of department's progress and advise them on key issues to help the decision making process, particularly as it relates to current and forward financial performance and opportunities
Provide support to the Senior Vice President of Finance as required
Provide support to the Vice President of Corporate G&A and IT Finance as required
Prepare special projects for the Director and Managers of IT Finance on a regular basis, including financial reporting, contract analysis, project analysis, NPV analysis, etc.

Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems and to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other Team Members as appropriate

BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
Ability to analyze financial, statistical, and operational data
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
Ability to collaborate with others and act in an objective manner in order to effectively solve problems and stay on track towards accomplishing organizational goals
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with the ability to build financial models using Microsoft Excel
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- MA/MS Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics preferred
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience
Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels of management and effectively present to senior and executive management
Proficiency with Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Essbase
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
