This is a work at home role with significant travel required. Travel is required to any state there is a Medicaid plan.
Case Management and Utilization Management experience is required.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position includes designing, developing and delivering curriculum and training sessions to a uniquely defined designated audiences of learners. This includes clinical and non-clinical employees. Collaborate with local plan leadership and the internal curricula design team to ensure the successful development and transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job. Independently oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management. Coaches, mentors and oversees other trainers both technical and behavioral skills for trainer development purposes.
Fundamental Components:
The role includes instructional design, training delivery and measuring training outcomes. It supports all of the Medicaid health plans and shared services departments.
This role uses a variety of educational media to design and develop state-of-the-art training tools and programs for designated Aetna audiences; assesses and reports on the effectiveness and ROI of training programs. Design, Develop and delivers curriculum and training sessions to uniquely defined designated audiences of learners. Collaborate with local leadership to ensure the successful development and transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job. Independently oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
Strong clinical/technical training knowlege of the function being trained. Excellent platform skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
A Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
