Transporter

Transports patients via Bed/Wheelchair/Stretcher to their in-patient bed and/or to and from other areas such as Radiology, Emergency room, Surgery and Therapy. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to the Chief Technologist or Department Director. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. CPR required.
