IT Project Manager needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Kissimmee, FL.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Project Manager will be responsible for execution of PM processes and deliverables
- Bi-Weekly status reporting to the IT PMO
- Ensure that project requirements are documented and achieved
- Maintain regular status updates to project sponsors
- Project Manager will manage a team of matrixed resources across IT and business support groups
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree
- Five (5) years of experience as an applications Project Manager (PM)
- Must have experience managing projects with budgets of at least $1 Million
- Must have a strong understanding of System / Software Development Life Cycle
- Project Manager with experience managing IT application development
- Ability to effectively apply structured project management methodologies
- Project Manager with experience working with various customer facing applications, complex interfaces, data hub / mart architecture
- Strong technical background with ability to effectively communicate between business and IT experts
- Project Manager with demonstrated effective project management skills, especially planning and directing work efforts, and motivating teammates
