  • Working experience with SQL databases and Business Intelligence software (e.g. Netezza, Teradata and/or Oracle); familiarity with Tableau and/or other complex analytical tools is a strong plus.
  • Eagerness to learn new facets of the media business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication.
  • Strong data analytical skill and ability to be flexible in a changing sales environment.
  • Self-starter, independently initiating and driving projects toward completion.

We are looking for people to join our Pricing and Inventory team which is responsible for the Media Sales strategy, research, and inventory management.   This position is an Inventory Analyst reporting into the Inventory Manager.  This position will focus on maximizing yield through inventory strategy, and serves to support the team in managing marketing units, automate the reporting process over time and perform demand analysis and forecasting to improve the effectiveness of inventory usage and to provide guidance on package generation and pricing decisions.

  • Work with the sales group and the pricing team to generate new ad packages and optimal rate cards based on yield analysis.
  • Suggest and implement improved data mining and visualizing and reporting automation; work with data warehouse and IT as necessary.
  • Help forecast inventory demand in term of traditional 30’s spots and advanced audience-targeted addressable spots to optimize spots allocation and maximize revenue.
  • Create and maintain ad-hoc and recurring reports to support the ad-sales business and communicate key findings to management or Account Executives.
