Responsibilities* To provide advanced administrative support for the Anesthesiology Quality Improvement Program and staff. Skilled, complex secretarial, office management, project management support involving: high-level communication; confidential data/information handling; interview, orientation, and training coordination; travel, and itinerary coordination; poster preparation for scientific presentations, PowerPoint presentations. Position will also assist with regulatory accreditation preparedness and awareness, effectively manage multiple databases, respond to inquiries and complaints regarding matters of a sensitive and confidential nature, support multiple large faculty-led committees, manage and update web content, reconcile P-Card statements, and process reimbursements in the Concur system.

U-M EEO/AA Statement A minimum of two years full-time administrative assistant experience is required. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience are required. Candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent judgment in problem solving when developing daily work priorities. The applicant must have strong ability to work independently, multi-task deadlines and work collaboratively with others. Advanced experience in performing and prioritizing multiple computer based tasks is necessary. Must have effective communication skills, relate positively with community and communicate with utmost tact and diplomacy. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite -- PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Data analysis/graphing and Microsoft SharePoint experience desirable. Applicant must have previous experience assisting with strategic communication preparation, as well as proofing and editing. Above all, candidate must bring sense of continuously improving and contributing to overall objectives of the team.
