Responsible for the transportation of inpatients by wheelchairs, stretchers and beds to and from rooms, test and procedures, etc.
May involve some heaving lifting, pulling and pushing; occasionally includes moving medical equipment such as oxygen tanks and IV's while transporting patients.
High School diploma
Prior customer service experience and excellent communication skills required
Experience as transporter in hospital setting preferred
Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude essential;
Able to work cooperatively within department and with employees from other departments.
