Admissions Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for registering all patient types that present to the Admissions & Emergency Department. This includes outpatients, inpatients, ASU's, and ER's. Prepares registration forms accurately and efficiently, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Obtains necessary signatures on appropriate forms. Responsible for verifying any insurance eligibility and securing any patient payments/arrangements, as applicable. Responsible for placing armband on patient at time of registration or ER pre-registration.

Education High School education or equivalent.

Experience Previous medical office experience is preferred. Exp. with Insurance billing a plus.
