About this job

Providence is calling a Social Worker - MSW, Neurodevelopment Center for Children (0.4 FTE, Days) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

In this position you will:

Provide clinical social work services within Providence Neurodevelopment Center for Children.

Facilitate services which are provided to enable patients and significant others to more effectively deal with the impact of medical and/or disability, on individual and family functioning.

Assist in the finding of satisfactory solutions or adjustments to medical, social, emotional and financial problems related to illness or disability which may interfere with access to and use of medical care, taking into account patients' physical or age-related needs.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Master's degree in Social Work

Minimum 2 years experience in medical environment

In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Minimum 1 year experience in pediatrics
