Responsibilities:

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for small equipment repair, Projects including some carpentry, plumbing and organizing maintenance machanical rooms as assigned.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:

Assumes responsibility for correct completion of all maintenance assignments Perform maintenance in plumbing, heating and air conditioning, windows, doors, stairwells, furniture repair and replacement. Repair or replace Kitchen/Bathroom fixtures. Inspect all equipment before using to insure safe and proper working order. make needed repairs or replace defective equipment after discussing it with the manager Reviews all project work with manager prior to starting. Completes all documentation needed in order to meet and exceed Aramark standards to ensure accurate accountability Performs routine preventative maintenance, corrective maintnance and projects to ensure that proper builiding infrastructure is maintained and equipment continues to operate smoothly Completes assigned repair work requests according to completion time policy Provides proper tracking of inspection and repair of all asset work on work request form Tracks and records all parts used in completion of work request Cleans work area before leaving for the day or after completion of the task. Maintaines interior organiztion of the company vehicle Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned work spaces Notifies management of equipment without an asset tag and low inventory of various parts by documenting it on the work request. Assist in snow and ice removal as needed and must be able to work alternate work schedule as required for snow removal Ability to work indoors/outdoors exposed to variable weather conitions must report to work on time Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred Have experience in buiding related maintenance and use of power tools Must possess a valid Iowa Drivers License Must be able to read and follow instructions Average communication skills (oral and written) are needed
