This role is instrumental in delivery of the enterprise-wide (across all formats) digital strategy and roadmap to support customer loyalty and drive profitable sales growth.

Requirements

  • Oversee the full portfolio of digital programs and products being executed by the department, ensuring that the work being done is adequately supporting the strategic objectives of the department and effectively applying department resources
  • Provide oversight and management of the overall Digital Marketing Team -- hire, supervise, mentor and develop Team Members and contracted resources.
  • Aggressively partner and collaborate with all Giant Eagle LOB's and the broader Giant Eagle, Inc. marketing teams to proactively plan, initiate and develop integrated marketing initiatives
  • Develop and execute an integrated and personalized email strategy and program to support the department and business goals
  • Formulate models for planning and evaluating digital marketing portfolio (segment analysis, spending distribution across consumer influence loop, distribution across brands, etc.)
  • Aggressively develop and nurture strong working relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing, Advertising, in the LOBs, Merchandising, IS, etc. and with critical strategic vendors; leverage these relationships to support the digital marketing team's development of workflow process for on-boarding work into the dept.
  • Serve as a change agent in the advancement of integrated marketing planning and digital marketing appreciation within the broader Giant Eagle organization
  • Evaluate the strategic fit for key digital marketing and product partners and provide POVs on the future vision for GE's digital ecosystem
  • Benchmark existing infrastructure against competitors and provide holistic POVs around suite of tools and partners used by digital marketing team
  • Major budgetary and financial responsibility for a group function. Amount of Budgetary Responsibility: $3mm - $5mm
  • Responsible for direct and indirect supervision of team members in one or more departments.
