  A successful Web Developer, CSC Training and Communications, will have the following: 

  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. Alternatively, two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Proficiency in front end web design and development, HTML, Javascript, CSS
  • Basic understanding of various Javascript frameworks including but not limited to jQuery and AngularJS; experience with Visual Studio 2010, or newer versions, required; experience with Lambda and LINQ a plus; 1-2 years experience developing applications in .NET environment; Net 4.0 or above preferred;  C# languages preferred
  • Experience maintaining and configuring IIS 6.0 or IIS 7.0 preferred; experience with MS SQL Server; basic experience with Agile Development Methodology
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Are you a Web Developer who wants to join a team that can work autonomously and helps in the design, development and improvement of critical systems?  We are looking for someone with some solid .NET skills, Web Development skills, or a combination of both.

 

The Web Developer consults with various stakeholders in to build and maintain web-based tools that manage the training production cycle, training scheduling, and training facilitation in our agent call centers. Simulated practice environments used to train our call center agents are built and maintained by the web developer as well. The web developer also collects feedback on the various tools from its users, and utilizes that feedback to complete necessary tool fixes. 

 

Primary responsibilities will fall into the following categories: 

  • Front end web development, utilizing multiple web technologies
  • Basic design projects
  • Database work, including writing basic SQL queries
