This is a role for a well-rounded analytics person who has a bias for action and can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. This role is challenging given the dynamic market landscape and new marketing challenges, and will allow the right candidate the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time as they grow an important market segment for DISH.  A successful International Marketing Analyst will have the following:

  • Strong verbal and written English communications skills are required; must be able to clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts to a large and varying audience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tiered four-year college or university required; MBA preferred
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various functional groups including operations, sales, distribution, marketing, finance, programming and legal.  Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership and promote enthusiasm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong familiarity with Excel; must have experience working with SQL and databases, or desire to learn.  Has the ability to manage large data sets and identify key trends.
  • Must be results oriented and have an understanding of metrics and data.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis

The International Marketing Analyst has responsibility for providing cross-functional, operational support and analysis to senior business leaders and marketing managers to drive results in DISH’s International satellite business. The focus of the role will be to provide analytical, operational, and project support to execute profitable marketing and operational strategies to grow new subscribers and retain existing subscribers.  This role will require frequent cross-functional communication and collaboration with individuals at all levels of the organization to successfully drive completion and results on major operational projects and initiatives.  Cross-functional teams include; Retention, Call Center, Finance, Sales, Programming, IT, and Operations.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute strategy, customer retention and promotion for the cross-language markets to meet business targets- specific work includes financial and business case analysis, and cross-functional coordination and planning.
  • Provides root cause analysis and drives other analytical projects that will set in motion new retention and promotion initiatives across the language business lines.
  • Utilize SQL to create reports and analysis that facilitate decision making.
  • Automate key reports, dashboards, and analytical processes to maximize efficiency and enable quick response to opportunities and threats. Leverage support from Marketing Analytics organization to support, maintain, design, develop, and troubleshoot processes to improve, advance, or simplify data gathering and/or reporting and analytics.
  • Provide support for ad hoc analytical projects, including customer-level analysis, segmentation analysis, product affinity and customer profiling analysis.
