Immediate Account Manager / Marketing Assistant position available in the Newport News area.
Position will be a long-term 13 week contract position beginning August 24th.
Hours - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Monday – Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage business accounts.
• Coordinate and make public presentations to large and small groups.
• Distribute fund raising information to accounts.
• Maintain records of accounts and all activity on those business accounts.
• Track incentives for fund raising efforts.
• Send marketing materials, thank-you notes and communication to clients.
• Attend fund raising meetings, functions and events.
• Meet with campaign coordinators to ensure successful fund raising efforts.
• Maintain phone contact with company campaign coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work efficiently and independently in a changing, fast-paced environment.
• Service-oriented and able to provide stellar customer service.
• Team player.
• Must have dependable transportation to visit business accounts (mileage reimbursement).
Salary $14.00 - $15.00 per hour.
