About this job

The Sales and Service Manager supports the General Manager and Assistant General Manager by executing sales and service strategies in specified Brand Stores. This leader is as an expert in an identified Brand(s) and is responsible for driving sales through on-going training, coaching, and customer service modeling.

This leader assigns tasks, communicates sales updates, tracks goals, coaches and gives feedback to Associates. He/she is passionate and clearly understands the Brand and its products, how to build customer loyalty and motivate Associates, while ensuring the Paradies Mission Statement and Core Values are adhered to.

Service & Sales

Trains and motivates teams through positive reinforcement of sales and service standards while executing tasks related to Brand and Company best practices

Communicates regularly with the Merchandising Team, General Manager or AGM about the Store: sales performance, service levels, presentation standards, maintenance of visual elements and product levels

Educates team on driving sales and service through engagement and suggestive selling skills

Responsible for demonstrating strong product knowledge and expertise in the Brand

Maintains an efficient, service friendly store environment

Responds and takes action to address customer concerns

Operations

Facilitates opening and closing procedures for stores

Ensures store merchandising standards are consistently executed per the company guidelines

Communicates inventory needs to the Assistant General Manager and other leaders that oversee the offsite warehouse and stockroom

Coordinate and monitor staffing levels to maximize sales and service potential

Provide recommendations on schedule to support Brand expectations and requirements

During peak periods, support the team with various sales floor tasks & duties

Perform all register/cash handling/ Loss Prevention functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

Financial/Business

Achieve sales goals by adhering to company performance metrics, implementing promotional programs, and executing Brand directives

Accountable for adhering to company performance metrics, implementing promotional programs, and executing Brand directives

People/Leadership

Direct, coach, and train Associates on sales and service expectations, in addition to other daily job assignments

Represent and support the company by fostering strong business relationships with local management, the Brand representatives and airport community

Escalate Associate performance concerns to Assistant General Manager or General Manager as appropriate for resolution

Contribute feedback on Associate reviews and provide input on Associate counselin

Required Skills

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable Department of Transportation requirements

Strong knowledge of Company's licensed Brands required, with an ability to communicate and coach others on product benefits and features.

Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 day team oriented environment

Capable of effectively communicating product benefits and features to customers

Understands visual elements and direction with an ability to coach and train others in this area

Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language

Strong interpersonal/organizational skills with ability to coach, inspire, and motivate others in a sales environment

Self-starter able to prioritize various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations simultaneously

Proficiency required in reading, writing, mathematics, cash handling/ reporting

Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office preferred

Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to work in environments with varying temperatures

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances

Required Experience

Education:

High school diploma or equivalency required / Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

Minimum two years of retail or comparable customer service experience required

Prior supervisory and leadership experience preferred

Experience delivering training in a dynamic commission sales and service environment preferred
