Job Title: Lead Technician
Office: Dulles, VA
Service Area: Northern VA, Suburban MD & DC
Job Summary: Lead Technicians manage and work with their crew to perform our services
Main Responsibility: Happy customers
Job Responsibilities:
Responds to emergency mitigation calls driving company vehicle to job site
Interacts with customers to explain the mitigation & cleanup process, complete paperwork and obtain required signatures
Document condition of job by taking photos, measurements, moisture readings and collect necessary samples
Evaluates damage to determine what procedures are required then mobilizes crew to begin work
Ensures proper procedures and safety equipment are used by crew
Works with crew to remove damaged building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, or drywall as necessary
Works with crew using commercial extraction equipment to extract water from flooded areas and sets up commercial drying equipment per guidelines
Works with crew and uses HEPA vacuum to remove soot, organize & clean contents as necessary
Works with crew and performs mold mitigation services
Works with crew to cleanup bodily floods on trauma jobs wearing personal protective equipment
Performs quality inspection of all work performed
Communicates with office for job status/schedule follow up work
Keeps company vehicle organized and ready for use; stocked with equipment and supplies
Gets gas for company vehicle at end of day not in the morning
Other Responsibilities:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Technicians & Helpers on assigned crew
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
This position involves application of cleaning solutions and exposure to moderate noise levels when operating restoration equipment. Performing the physical activities of this position require considerable use of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of equipment. Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Minimum Requirements:
Fluent in English
Valid Driver's license
Clean background check. No felonies, drug or violent crime convictions
Able to use iPad/iPhone for digital paperwork
Able to learn & pass industry training tests for certification
Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently
Availability for on-call schedule & weather related events
Sense of urgency
Sensitivity for customers who have experienced a loss
