Party Planner and Desk Manager

Position: Party Planner at BounceU (Huntington Beach, CA) Compensation: $10 - $13/hr depending on skill set level. Job Type: Part-time (10-30hrs)

We are looking for someone to help us with our Party Planner position at BounceU of Huntington Beach. We want to hire a weekday/weekend party planner that will include daytime and evening hours. This job entails:

• Answering phones, booking parties, confirming parties, greeting customers at the beginning of the parties, planning activities for other workers at the facility including a kitchen. We serve pizza, salads, (should be familiar with basic pizza kitchen operations)
• You must have excellent phone skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, pleasant phone demeanor, multi-tasker and be an overall happy person.
• We try to treat our customers with extra special customer service (hospitality background) and demand that from our managers.

This is a part-time job that mostly takes place on the weekdays evenings and weekends. We are offering between 10-30 hours per week... Please be prepared to work weekends, we do a lot of parties between Friday evening and Sunday night. Serve Safe Certification suggested but not required

Desk Manager Position: 

Partying is serious business. The reality is that great parties don't throw themselves. Our team works hard to get every detail just right to make sure each party is memorable. As the Front Desk Manager, you'll play a major role in pulling it all together and leading that team. We are looking for a dynamic leader who manages by example and motivates the team, identifies opportunities for efficiency and growth, has a passion for customer service and creating unforgettable experiences, achieves results by thinking creatively and positively and implementing action plans...all while having fun, of course!

You'll work approximately 25-35 hours per week, however, like most great things, the fun stuff mostly happens on the weekends. You will also work some during the week but will need to be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as that is when most shifts will be scheduled.

You'll need to be able to function well in a very fast paced environment and have to be extremely details . There are lots of incoming phone work as well answering questions and scheduling parties. Excellent communication skill, detailed oriented and ability to multitaskare key for this position. We are looking for big smiles and happy people who work well in a team!

Necessary skills and requirements for this position:

• Enthusiastic, self driven, highly motivated team leader with high positive energy to join our team
• Strong Customer Service skills including phone calls, facility tours and driving positive customer satisfaction
• Responsible for the opening and/or closing of the facility each day as well as the facility's overall cleanliness and working condition
• General operations, facility responsibility and desk functions
• Answer customer phone calls for general inquiry and party bookings, calling customers for party confirmations
• Meet and greet guests, check in and check out parties, processing payment transactions
• Safety conscious as a priority for both the facility and our customers
• Organized and diligent multi-tasker, outgoing, energetic, upbeat, positive attitude
