Job Description

Our line cooks are responsible for performing various kitchen duties such as but not limited to:

  • Create dishes from scratch with quality ingredients and a strong focus on presentation

  • Ensure all dishes are created using recipes and proper portions

  • Effectively set up, restock, breakdown and clean stations and equipment

  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen

  • Perform additional essential duties as requested by the Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Restaurant Managers

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Prior food preparation experience in an upscale kitchen preferred

  • Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes

  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

  • Professional communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and bend, climb or work in confined spaces

  • Ability to properly lift 25 lbs

  • Demonstrate good organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Commitment to creating quality products and offering exceptional service

  • Ability to do a great job while also having fun!
