POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grill Master is responsible for coordinating and executing the preparation of Guest meals, following Fuddruckers specifications and procedures, in a timely manner. The Grill Master must have extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients and current promotions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Food Safety - Prepare all products to Fuddruckers specifications, following freshness standards, temperatures, and hold times as directed by company, local, state and federal guidelines.
- Keep open communication with other Cooks and the Expeditor to meet Guest needs
- Can lead others in a positive way
- “Awareness” to move and “Slide Deploy” staff to meet guest needs
- Monitor ticket times to ensure Guests receive their order in accordance to Fuddruckers’ ticket time standards
- Ensure working area is kept clean and well stocked
- Clean and maintain all equipment and grill areas per Fuddruckers standards
- Provide routine equipment preventive maintenance as needed
- Control Portions to eliminate waste - Document waste on waste sheets
- Ensure Excellent Guest service that meets or exceeds expectations
- Follow all Grill Master Job Responsibilities as listed
- Other tasks deemed necessary by management
CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 18 years of age to operate heavy equipment
- Ability to speak, read, and write using a minimal amount of the English language
- Be able to withstand the pressures of working in close quarters, standing for hours at a time, working near hot grills and deep fryers
- Must possess excellent Guest service and verbal communication skills
- Must maintain a positive and upbeat attitude
- Must report to work on time in a company approved uniform
- Professional appearance required (see uniform standards)
- Ability to multitask
- Must be a team player with a high since of urgency
- Ability to handle stress appropriately
- Ability to cross train in other areas as needed
- Problem solver that has the ability to adapt and overcome
- Activities include, but are not limited to, walking or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, talking, and sitting
