About this job
From serving the food, to handling the laundry, to making the bed - your help will be valued by the Nurses and other staff. Doing your job well allows them to focus on caring for our residents' other needs.
Responsibilities:
Pass meal trays, offer basic tray set-up, serve food and bus dishes in the dining room; may assist residents with feeding
Make residents' beds; label their clothing and belongings; distribute personal and facility laundry
Transport or escort residents to areas within the facility, e.g. dining room, activities, resident care conferences, etc.
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, appropriate professional standards and applicable state and federal laws
Hospitality Aide Hospitality Assistant Food Server Dining Room Assistant Dining Room Aide
Should be patient, polite and able to communicate effectively with residents and their families. Must have the ability to learn infection control techniques. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
