Account Representative II (Registration Denials) Murray, UT - Full-time / Part-time

The Account Representative II (Registration) is responsible for correcting any registration related issues that may prevent a claim from being submitted or cause a claim to deny. This work is done through system work queues driven by notifications throughout the claim creation, submission, and follow-up processes.

A. Education

1. High School Diploma or GED

B. Experience

1. 2 year at Sutter Physician Services or other Health Care facility in a business office setting

C. Skills:

1. Must have training in the following Epic classes:

* Epic Registration

* Epic Payment Posting

* Epic Inquiry

* Claim Forms

* Rejection Reporting

* Microsoft applications: Word, Excel

2. This position generally requires a demonstrated ability to:

* Communicate effectively with others

* Perform basic mathematical calculations

* Possess basic clerical duties and prepare correspondence utilizing proper syntax, grammar and punctuation

* Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently work with a filing system

* Work in a Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel and Outlook

* Operate general office equipment, including a calculator, fax and copy machine, and a personal computer with internet use

3. Ability to work well with others in a team environment

4. Ability to maintain confidentiality

5. Ability to multi-task, produce quality work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

6. Excellent customer service skills

D. Other requirements

1. If employed at Sutter Physician Services, previous years' performance rating must have been at least a performance rating of "Strong Performance".

2. If employed at Sutter Physician Services, must have recommendation from the immediate Supervisor

3. If employed at Sutter Physician Services, must have approval of the Epic manager
