JOB OVERVIEW We are currently recruiting for a Part Time (20 hrs. week nights) Nursing Assistant to join our team. Responsible to the Nursing Department for following all department and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are students in the health care field. Previous experience as a nurse assistant preferred. Requires up to one-three year's experience on this or related jobs in a hospital or healthcare facility. Current registration by the state of Ohio as a State Tested Nursing Assistant by the Ohio Department of Health preferred. Certification in Healthcare Provider CPR by the American Heart Association preferred. Broad knowledge in medical terminology. Knowledge of regulatory, legislative and JCAHO standards related to patient care activities. Broad knowledge in professional area and in nursing.
