Providence is calling an on-call Security Officer for a rotating/variable shift opening to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.
In this position you will:
Provide security services to patients, visitors, staff, physicians and volunteers which promotes a safe and secure environment and safeguards Providence Health & Services property.
Respond to emergency situations relating to safety and security concerns.
Provide assistance of a more general nature when requested.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
CPR certified or obtained within 90 days of hire
State of Oregon DPSST Professional Certification or temporary work permit upon start of work date
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Experience using personal computer with Microsoft applications
Must be 21 years of age
Must be willing to accept 6 or more work assignments per. an 80 hour pay period
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
College level course work in professionally related fields
1 year prior security/law enforcement experience
Prior experience in a healthcare industry
