3M is seeking Production Operators for the Aero Technologies, Thermal and Acoustic manufacturing facility located in Indianapolis, IN. Ready to be part of what's next?

Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of Production Operator will be responsible for following established manufacturing and quality procedures.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Demonstrating safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self and others

- Work from written and verbal instructions to produce customer parts on time

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area

- Set up and operation of assigned equipment that may require a variety of adjustments

- Analyzing and troubleshooting machine or in-process product problems

- Interacting with support groups and provide feedback to improve/maintain machine performance

- Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds assisted

- Standing up to 12 hours -- including breaks

This position will require:

- Working overtime

- Weekend work

- Working extended hours

- Working a fixed 2nd shift

Basic Qualifications:

- Possess a high school diploma/GED or higher

- Minimum one (1) year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous forklift experience

- Previous hoist operation experience

- Experience in SAP

- Experience operating PLC

- Skilled in problem solving and willingness to work in a teamwork environment

- Basic computer and math skills

Location: Indianapolis, IN
