As a Senior Teller, you'll provide our customers with outstanding service giving them your full attention while making their business your top priority. A Senior Teller coordinates and oversees scheduling and workflow of Teller staff. Ensures staff compliance with established bank policies and procedures. Trains and coaches Teller staff as needed. Ensures appropriate branch cash supply, orders currency, prepares currency shipments, verifies money shipped to the branch. Opens and closes vault daily, controls cash in vault, distributes daily cash to Senior Tellers. Approves Teller transactions as appropriate. Takes a role in branch sales meetings. Accountable for scheduling breaks/lunches, shipping/ordering branch cash, monitoring cash limits, posting over/short errors, daily processing of cash items, training new tellers, giving positive reinforcement, and giving present component of agenda. Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent required
Minimum of one year Senior Teller experience
Minimum one year cash handling required
Strong customer service skills
Keeps proper cash supply on hand and prepares daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable difference record
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance policies and procedures OR Compliance with applicable banking laws and regulations
Ensures staff compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Proven referral track record
Ability to execute all Senior Teller-related duties
Ability to travel, as needed, to required trainings and/or other branch locations
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in basic computer knowledge
Meets Senior Teller sales referral goals and actively participates in sales promotions
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 35
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
