Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the operational and administrative activities of the legal, government relations and risk management functions of the law department. Responsibilities include, budget and planning, reporting and legal software support, leading the analytics, measurement and reporting process across the Legal function.

This will include advanced modeling and analytics of the department in order to provide strategic and actionable insights. The position is responsible for providing strategic direction on reporting, business analytics and process improvement for the organization through data extraction, modeling and analysis. In addition to managing the daily operations, the position delivers insights and consulting services to a broad range of internal clients, including the Legal leadership team.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
30%-Build and grow new, forward-thinking, measurements, analytical tools and visualizations for team and business partners. Build and maintain “living” reporting dashboards and decks for our business partners. Develop and provide reporting, tracking and analytics across for the function.
30%-Partner with key leadership members across the Legal team to determine & define appropriate metrics that will be indicators of success. Research & make recommendations on industry standard software applications to enhance reporting & improve analytical tools. Generate ad hoc reports & data deep-dives per requests
30%-Raise questions & opportunities for deeper analysis & study to drive continual improvement in the areas of customer service, process, & execution. Analyze trends & provide narrative summaries & clear visualizations to senior management. Function as a Project Manager around reporting & data needs to support business needs
10%-Assist with general administrative tasks. Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
Develop communication cadence to regularly report on progress to goals with leadership team as well as the overall team

Nature and Scope:
Position reports to EVP General Counsel. This position has no Direct Reports Environmental

Environment:  Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment test if applicable. 

Minimum Qualifications: 
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. 

Experience Required:

Physical Requirements: 
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree preferred in areas of Business, Statistics, Marketing, Analytics or Information Services
• Familiarity with legal software
• Project management • Administrative management Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and

Competencies:
• 3-5 years of experience providing analytical insights
• 2-3 years of experience building dashboards
• 2-3 years consultative experience
• 2-3 years of experience performing management effectiveness reviews for law firms
