Process Scientist - Cell Culture - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Scientific is currently hiring a Process Scientist for an In Vitro Diagnostic group performing cell culture and selection for production. The company is a Biotech company located near Saint Paul, MN. Employee will be responsible for performing technical procedures related to the production of monoclonal antibodies. These duties include:

• formulation of buffers and maintenance of laboratory inventory
• maintaining mouse colonies and handling mice, must be okay with animal research
• aseptically maintain and harvest cell culture stocks at an intermediate level, including troubleshooting any contamination issues independently

Required Qualifications:

• Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Chemistry or Related Science
• 2+ years of Cell Culture experience, specifically with mammalian or hybridoma cells
• 3+ months of experience handling rodents in a research setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a laboratory production position
• Understanding of monoclonal antibodies

This position is located near Saint Paul, MN. It is a long term opportunity with the company. The hours are typically Monday-Friday 8-5PM, but will require mandatory weekend hours on Saturdays and Sundays once a month (1-4/hrs each day on designated weekend).
