Aerotek is recruiting motivated Insurance Follow Up Representatives to work in a fast-paced office environment in the Aurora area.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Accounts Receivable follow up/clean up
- Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
- Appeals/Denials
- Works directly with insurance companies in collecting money through utilization of proprietary software
- Full cycle billing, registration, eligibility
- Works directly with Medicare replacement plans - Up to 70 accounts a day - works 5-6 accounts an hour
- Inbound/Outbound phone calls
- Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions
- Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information
- Documents information, activities and changes in the database.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Medicare AR or Insurance Foillow Up
- 1 year Insurance Follow-up Experience
- Data Entry Experience preferred
- 2-3 years total experience in Healthcare Customer Service, Insurance Follow-up, or AR/AP
- Good attendance record and tenure with previous employment
- High School Diploma or GED
