Customer Service Representative

Provides clerical support for jobs from the beginning of the contract to the completion of billing. Responds to customer service inquiries.

Initiates and responds to correspondence and inquires (from internal and external sources) both orally and in writing.

Maintains necessary supplies, including estimating needs and writing orders as necessary. Coordinates with other areas to ensure that deadlines are met.

Requirements

Basic Knowledge:

  • Requires ability to initiate simple correspondence or reports involving basic communication skills, and/or arithmetic involving calculation of fractions, decimals, etc.
  • Requires ability to utilize keyboard data entry devices, including PC's.
  • Requires understanding of installation/scheduling procedures.
  • Requires ability to report problems with customer's installations to management.
  • Requires ability to deal with customers to achieve satisfactory customer relations.
  • Requires ability to communicate effectively over the telephone.

Requirements:

  • One year experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
