Plato's Closet Bellevue is an exciting, dynamic store that buys and sells gently used teen and young adult apparel, shoes and accessories. Our Bellevue location has immediate opportunities for Store Management and part-time sales. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will enjoy taking responsibility for their own success and also the store's overall success. We are looking for people who have a passion for retail, a passion for current teen and young adult fashion and who want to learn, be challenged and be rewarded for the overall success of our store.
Our Managers are expected to wear five core Hats - Salesperson, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Training Manager and Buyer.
Sales Team members are expected to be customer friendly, enjoy helping others that right outfit or items. Have a great attitude and most important is the ability to have fun while working smart and efficiently.
Duties for management include but are not limited to:
- Selling for 15 - 20 hours per week. - As a Manager, responsible for driving each Salesperson's sales and profits up. - Training part-time staff and insuring staff advancement through company job progression. - Conducting/participating in regular store meetings. - In-store marketing including promotions, events and customer loyalty - Must be able to oversee/work with a staff of 10+ employees with ease and professionalism. - Oversee all aspects of gently used inventory purchasing, including merchandise selection and pricing by working directly with the Store Manager. - Daily Audits of previous days business to update metrics and be aware of any loss prevention issues.
Must be comfortable climbing ladders, be able to stand, walk, bend, lift & move bins up to 30lbs on a repetitive basis.
Must be able to take your responsibilities seriously but not yourself. Commitment to company and our guests trumps experience and even some skills. To be considered for this position you must be willing to submit to a routine background check.
