Shipping/Receiving Clerk

The Material Management Inventory Control Clerk performs data entry and filing. Receives, monitors, stocks and accurately issues all items stored in inventory. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: One-year inventory control maintenance and one-year data entry/patient charge coding. Requires proficiency in mathematics. Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Requires good interpersonal skills. Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines. Position requires some overtime and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions and document care given in English. Ability to plan and organize.
