QUALITY PRODUCT ENGINEER FOR MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY

Organize and manage resources in projects or sub-projects within different business areas to meet defined project scope, deliverables, time and cost constraints.
Represent the different business areas/ business units at project meetings and reviews.
Participate as team member in assigned project teams and provide technical support and analysis of product elements utilizing quality tools including variations of FMEAs and other six sigma analysis methods.
Requires competencies with Product Development Quality Tools (e.g. Risk Screening, SFMEAs, DFMEA, DFA, DFaM, PFMEAs, etc...).
Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks across a diverse set of projects
Must be able to work cross-functionally to create, anchor and manage the overall Quality Assurance Plan for assigned projects
Manage and track Project Risk for assigned projects, 9. Report status and make recommendations within NA and Global Reference Groups 10. Utilize Powerpoint / Excel / Word office suite

1. PROTUS reporting (generation, distribution, etc...)
2. Meeting facilitation & arrangement
3. Project related document updating and storage in department and project teamplace,
4. Lead PMQ Project Quality Network Meetings within assigned projects
5. Participate in Project Team Meetings
6. Occasional travel to NC required
