POSITION SUMMARY
Performs echocardiograms including but not limited to M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler and TEE
Echocardiogram. Performs pediatric Echocardiogram and maintains current registry in either ARDMS or CCI. Provides
electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens and stress testing. Provides procedures for patients from
newborn to maturity. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties
as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Echocardiography program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months performing Echocardiograms.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year performing Echocardiograms
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS--Obtained through approved American Heart
Association Training Center or the Military Training Network
