The Project Manager dedicated to this Client manages a specialized projects team; delegating and assigning projects and assignments as required. Conducts investigations as needed. Coordinates and interacts with all levels of management, security staff, law enforcement and related agencies, contractors, vendors, and others to accomplish required tasks. Holds disciplinary authority of staff allocated to projects. Position is responsible for hiring/selection, training, disciplining and terminations for direct reports. Works with the Amazon Corporate Security Manager to develop service and quality innovations that enhance Client business interests. Interfaces with Management and Staff, other representatives, contractors and vendors.

1. Responsible for administering and coordinating the planning and completion of risk assessments. Assists the Security Manager in the development, tracking, documenting, and reporting Unit specific Key Process Indicators (KPI's) on a quarterly basis and submits findings to the Security Manager. (10%)

2. Responsible for conducting confidential internal investigations for client on employees, contractor and temporary personnel involving highly sensitive situations of confirmed or suspected violations of Company policy, local, state or federal statutes. Responsible for the timely preparation and submittal of investigative audit related reports and information. (25%)

3. Assists the Corporate Security Manager with documentation, implementation, and auditing of the Device Security Program and contractor screening /on-boarding process. (25%)

4. Responsible for planning, implementing, controlling, delegating evaluating and completing new projects as assigned by Corporate Security Management. (10%)

5. Manages a team of three (3) Client Specified Administration positions including hiring/selection, terminations, disciplines, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support. (30%)

* Mentor and provide technical/operational guidance to Project Coordinator and System Specialist to include multiple third party vendor relations.

* Utilize sound judgment when dealing with staff members or determining actions required on behalf of the client's Safety & Security.

* Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes by remaining at the forefront of emerging industry practices

* Maintain investigative and audit files in compliance with Client, state and federal records retention requirements.

* Assists the Amazon Corporate Security Manager in the development, review and update of Unit Policies and Procedures.

* Minimum of 3 years leading high functioning teams in a high energy, metrics driven security environment.

* Requires a thorough knowledge of security procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity

* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

* Must be flexible and posse the ability to function in stressful situations

* Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required

* Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management

* A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

* Must be open to travel, domestic and overseas, as required.

* Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Access Control Systems; any PACS (Physical Access Control Systems) certification is highly preferred

* Strong knowledge of software programs and concepts such as Lenel, Remedy, and Microsoft Office Suite
